“Underwritten Content” is used to describe our own independently produced content that is funded by the financial support of an underwriter. We accept thoughtfully considered, third-party funding both for newly commissioned editorial projects and for content we are already producing. Before the underwritten content is agreed upon with a supporter, our editorial team consults about its suitability. The editorial team has the final say on whether a funding partnership is accepted. An underwriter whose branding appears on editorial content may have a role in suggesting what kind of topics are covered, but the commissioning editor is not obliged to accept ideas from the underwriter. The content is written and edited by B the Change Media’s editorial staff to the same standards expected throughout our journalism.

“Sponsored Content By” is brand content paid for and controlled by an advertiser. This content may be produced by B the Change Media’s marketing department or other content partners on behalf of the advertiser and is subjected to B the Change Media approval and review.
